what to expect
Students in Renaissance PAC Summer Musical Theatre Intensives can expect to take a host of dance classes, vocal workshops, and masterclasses with Broadway artists. Each day will be filled with opportunities to further their training in multiple styles of dance technique, grow in knowledge of different singing techniques and Musical Theatre singing styles., and dive deeper into all facets of Musical Theatre as an art form and career path.
Students will participate in multiple Performing Arts Masterclasses from Broadway and National Touring companies. Through in-person and virtual events, students will receive exclusive access to one-on-one performance feedback and experiences with professional performers who have created a career for themselves in the performing arts.
Students will rehearse daily on performance material that will be showcased in to two community performances. Along with daily technique classes and group rehearsals, students are encouraged to work closely with directors to help tailor their performing arts journey, creating a personalized plan to help each student become successful in making musical theatre their career path.

DIRECT FROM BROADWAY
A Night with Laurel Harris
Students participating in the Junior Musical Theatre Intensive and Senior Musical Theatre Intensive will have the opportunity to perform in a Renaissance PAC benefit concert alongside Laurel Harris, principal standby for Elphaba in Broadway's WICKED.
Laurel Harris has performed in countless National Touring and Broadway shows, including WICKED, JAGGED LITTLE PILL, BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL, EVITA, and more!
All proceeds from Direct From Broadway will go towards scholarship opportunities for members of the Renaissance Company.

GENE LEAHY MALL | SATURDAY, JULY 27TH
Students participating in all 3 Musical Theatre Intensives will have the opportunity to perform as a full company in a final Musical Theatre Intensive Showcase located at the Gene Leahy Mall at the Riverfront in Downtown Omaha.
Students will perform full company numbers, individual group numbers, and have to opportunity to present solos and duets on the biggest public stage that Omaha has to offer.
Friends and family alike are welcome to come out and celebrate the achievements of the full Summer Musical Theatre Intensive Company.
